Ethereum Developers Standardize Decoding Ranges in Major Update Today

Ethereum developers update EIP-8024 to standardize decoding ranges for certain data types. The proposed change aims to reduce errors caused by inconsistent interpretations of ranges. Previous versions defined the maximum range as 2^31, but this could lead to wrapping arithmetic issues. The update now sets this value at 2^63 - 1 to mitigate these problems.
