Research on historical gas-limit increases finds state creation most price-responsive (elasticity 0.254–0.478), execution least (0.079–0.121). Glamsterdam accounting multiplies gas 5.656× for state, 1.969× for data. State becomes the binding branch at limits 150M–300M; regular gas binds below.
