Base will exit the OP Stack, moving to its own base/base repository as of February 18, 2026. Base’s revenue share once contributed 3,765 ETH in 2025, representing over 70% of Superchain’s income. Original commitments included 2.5% gross sequencing revenue or 15% L2 profit and 118 million OP tokens (2.75% supply). Questions remain on revenue continuity, token vesting, and voting cap.
