Obfuscation Turns Any Program Into an Uncrackable Black Box
Indistinguishability obfuscation (iO) turns any program into a black box. Current iO schemes run in λ¹⁰ time—impractical. Researchers are optimizing this. iO relies on functional encryption and lattices. It could enable trustless protocols without trusted third parties. The post explains the construction pipeline from AJ15, BV15, LPST15, to LPST16.
