Attackers Drain $26 Million from Truebit Protocol Smart Contract Vulnerability

Attackers exploit Truebit Protocol's smart contract, extracting 8,535 ETH ($26.44 million). A vulnerability in the contract allows attackers to mint TRU tokens at nearly no cost, draining reserves. The attack uses a silent overflow due to lack of overflow protection in arithmetic operations in pre-Solidity 0.8.0 versions.
